Game 2 between the Chicago Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings is over, and the Wings have tied the series at one game a piece on the power of four unanswered goals.

Detroit jumped ahead of the 'Hawks in the second period on goals by Damien Brunner and Brendan Smith in the second period and never looked back.

Valtteri Filppula and Johan Franzen found the back of the net in the third, putting the 'Hawks away for good.

Detroit out-shot Chicago by a wide margin, and received a better effort from the young players in Game 2. That was the difference, and Detroit has stolen home ice advantage from Chicago in this second round series.
