Watch Quincy Pondexter Ruin Boris Diaw's Night with Baseline Throw Down

Lost in the huge run by the Memphis Grizzlies to force overtime against the San Antonio Spurs was Quincy Pondexter's huge throw-down on top of Boris Diaw.

Maybe it's just because of the fact that Diaw's vertical is actually measured with negative numbers, but I'm not sure if Pondexter has ever jumped higher in his life.

Memphis, down by just 10 points after facing a 17-point deficit early on in the second half, used a burst of scoring late in the fourth quarter and some of their patented defense to mount a comeback.

Pondexter grabbed a pass from Mike Conley, shook off a charging Kawhi Leonard and streaked to the lane for a pretty easy facial, as far as facials go.

Diaw did his best to shy away from his posterization fate, but it was too late once Pondexter got going. He was thoroughly dunked upon.

A runaway freight train of epic proportions crushed the Spurs spirit in the form of a cosmic dunk! THROW IT DOWN, PONDEXTER. THROW IT DOWN!

Greivis Vasquez for Quincy Pondexter is the poor man's George Hill for Kawhi Leonard.

That dunk would be a huge play in Memphis' comeback, helping it force overtime against the Spurs and giving it a chance to win late in the game.

Pondexter had a solid game for the Grizzlies, scoring seven and bringing in nine rebounds on the way to a disappointing loss for Memphis.

Memphis couldn't come through in the end, however, falling in overtime 93-89.
