To make matters worse, the San Antonio stars had to deal with another event going on just around the corner, contributing even more to the traffic congestion.

Parker and Duncan eventually did make it to the arena with time to spare before tip-off. They may not have made the pre-game warmup, but they were in the building rotating through layup lines just a few minutes before the game got underway.

They seemed to be well focused in the few minutes they had to get loose, and hopefully they won't have any ill effects as a result of their late arrival.
