Terrell Owens Comeback: Likes the Minnesota Vikings

Terrell Eldorado Owens, better known as T.O., likes the Minnesota Vikings, according to his comments from NFL network, and would like to make an NFL comeback with either the Vikings or the Kansas City Chiefs.

Yes, this is really happening.

The thing is that I like the Vikings too, and I’m pretty sure that me and T.O. have the same chance of making the Vikings final roster.

The last time Owens played in a NFL game was 2010 with the Cincinnati Bengals and he is currently 39 years old. That’s not exactly the prime of a wide receiver’s career.

Throw in the fact that he was technically released by an Indoor Football League team in May 2012, and things don't add up well in Owens’ favor.

A little bit of good news for T.O. is that he was a member of the Seattle Seahawks for about two and a half weeks last August.

Owens was a good receiver during his prime—and good is a vast understatement; the sideshow is just too draining for NFL teams.

Sideshow is probably an understatement as well—T.O. is an entire circus.

As a Vikings fan, I’d much rather have Tim Tebow on the roster then Terrell Owens. That’s probably a bigger statement than any other I can make.

Yes, the Vikings need some wide receivers, but bringing in Owens would be jumping off a cliff, and I don’t think we want to see rock bottom.

T.O. has cursed himself to be remembered more as a circus then a great wide receiver.

He gave us 15 years, 1,078 catches, 15,934 yards, 153 touchdowns and one workout in the middle of his driveway.
