As the PFA team of the year was announced last week, I thought it was about time that we, on the Football section of Bleacher Report, did the same kind of thing and nominated a "team of the season."

The BRFA (Bleacher Report Football Article) Team of the season will be made up of writers who have published articles since the start of the season, regardless of whether they've only joined or not.

Hell, if Giggsy can win the PFA and only start 13 games, then why not?

It's not too tough to do. Just vote at the end of the page, and then I'll compile the list of the 11 writers with the most votes and viola...our team of the season.

Everyone gets to nominate three writers, vote for whoever and whatever you want. Writers who you have found interesting, fun, informative, or controversial, you get the picture.

Vote for writers from other sections, from your own communities, from rival communities, or for writers you respect.

The fun part is that you get to write a line on your nomination, not stating why you like their writing or their style, but on where you think they'd best fit into a footballing starting 11.

For example: My first vote is for Maire Ofeire.

Mary has been pretty consistent over the course of the season and has cemented herself as being the best left full on Bleacher Report. Her incisive forward runs can only be matched by the vicious tackles she puts in when someone insults her or her team.

You get the message.

Of course, you don't have to go to that trouble if you don't want to. A simple vote for your three favourites will do just fine.

I'll leave the voting open for two weeks, and then in the final week of the EPL season, we'll all get to see our BR FA Team of the Season.

Phil Brown is even voting...

Good luck and best regards,
