Lester Cotton, a 2015 4-star guard recruit, seems to have his heart set on playing football for Nick Saban and Alabama.
According to a report from Wesley Sinor of AL.com, Cotton is certain that he will commit to 'Bama:
Lester Cotton has two more years of high school football to go, but already has his heart set on where he plans on playing college ball.
"(Alabama) is my favorite," the Central-Tuscaloosa guard told AL.com on Wednesday. "I've always been an Alabama fan ever since I was a little kid. It's the school I've been dreaming of going to. I will commit to Alabama, but I'm just not sure when."
Such is the power of Alabama football. Cotton is still ages away from his signing day, but he already knows that he wants to be a part of the Crimson Tide program.
Frankly, who could blame him?
Until further notice, Saban's program is the best in college football. Alabama has won three out of the past four national championships, and until somebody can stop the Crimson Tide, they're the favorite to keep on winning.
When discussing college football nowadays, one doesn't talk about programs that look like national title contenders. Instead, it's about whether or not a program looks good enough to compete with Alabama for the national championship.
Why wouldn't Cotton want to commit to such a program?
He says he'll eventually commit to Alabama. Now it's just a question of when.
