A battle between the '"Celtic Warrior" and one of Zeb Colter's so-called real Americans highlights a full night of action on WWE Main Event Wednesday night.
Sheamus came up on the short end of a hard-fought bout with Alberto Del Rio on Monday Night Raw and will look to get back in the win column against the 6'7", 260-pound former World Champion.
Jack Swagger was Daniel Bryan's opponent in the first leg of his gauntlet match Monday night and succumbed to the Yes Lock after just a few minutes of action. Swagger is in desperate need of a win to help curtail the downward spiral he has been on since his loss at WrestleMania 29. However, coming up with a win over Sheamus will be a tall order.
Sheamus competed Monday night with a nasty, very visible bruise on his leg. Will Swagger target the injury in an attempt to set up his ankle lock or will Sheamus be able to deliver a Brogue Kick on his way to another victory?
Also on tap for WWE Main Event is a match between Sin Cara and one member of 3MB, Drew McIntyre. Sin Cara will look to use his high-flying prowess to topple the former Intercontinental Champion McIntyre, but will he have to fend off the other members of 3MB to achieve victory?
Plus, Justin Gabriel meets Damien Sandow in one-on-one action. It will be a huge opportunity for Gabriel to get a win over the current holder of the Money in the Bank briefcase containing a contract for a shot at the World title.
Though Gabriel isn't the biggest name on the roster, Sandow needs to get on a roll. After all, he hasn't had much success since winning the Money in the Bank ladder match in which he pulled the rug out from under his former friend Cody Rhodes. Since then, Rhodes has made it no secret he wants a little revenge on the "Intellectual Savior of the Masses".
Finally, the Wyatt Family made their presence felt last Wednesday night (YouTube) on Main Event. Will these three men make another appearance? And if so, will the Superstars in action be ready for them?
