This week's episode of Main Event was taped during last week's double tapings to accommodate WWE's overseas tour, so spoilers have been available for awhile now. If you do not like spoilers than you have come to the right place.

Main Event is set to feature three matches Wednesday night.

The first match, which is the one billed as the "Main Event" will feature R-Truth taking on Wade Barrett. This will be an interesting match since neither man is really being pushed at the moment.

Usually the big match on Main Event features someone who is either a top star or involved in a major angle at the moment, but not this time.

Barrett and Truth are both floundering right now, and having a match where neither man is jobbing to someone else could help the winner raise their profile a bit.

These two are no strangers to each other, and both men are very gifted athletes, so this should be a solid match with some great action.

Barrett and Truth are both in need of a new direction in WWE, and hopefully whoever wins this match gets set on a path towards another push.

There will also be a tag team match between two of WWE's most prominent tag teams, The Prime Time Players and The Usos.

The Usos are involved in a feud with The Shield right now, but PTP have been sitting on the sidelines waiting for something to happen for them.

Last week on Raw, we saw PTP tell the WWE app that they wanted to focus on their singles careers, which means the seeds might be being planted for a potential breakup.

If that is indeed the case then we could see some cracks in the foundation of this team start to form soon, which is really too bad.

PTP are an entertaining duo who have amazing chemistry together, but matching the chemistry of real twin brothers Jey and Jimmy might be tough.

The Usos are being pushed more than they ever have in their WWE careers, and they soon could find themselves with the tag titles.

This match is going to feature The Usos delivering their brand of high-energy action while PTP try and stop them with raw power. This should be a good one.

The third and final match of the night will feature Mark Henry taking on Drew McIntyre of 3MB. I think we all know how this one will turn out.

Henry is currently embroiled in a feud with The Shield, so this is really just a match to fill time until he gets his hands on Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.

None of the matches on Main Event will involve wrestlers in direct feuds with one another, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't expect to be entertained.

Main Event has been pulling at least one great match out on a weekly basis, and this week we can expect that match to be Barrett vs. Truth. Since neither man is being used the way they should be, you can expect them to pull out all the stops to make sure they impress everyone in the back.

Both men have great value to the company as performers, so hopefully they can work together to make someone in the back realize that they are more valuable than your typical jobbers.

Main Event is a great show to watch in the middle of the week. It is only an hour long and usually focuses on the wrestling in the ring and less on the storylines outside it, that usually means a pretty entertaining show. Hopefully that is the case this week.
