Jairus Byrd Injury: Updates on Bills Safety's Foot

Maxwell Ogden@MaxwellOgdenCorrespondent IIIAugust 30, 2013

The Buffalo Bills are in a difficult place. They have the quality contributors to compete, but youth at skill positions could hold them back. If there is one reason for excitement, it's the fact that Buffalo's defense has legitimate star power.

Unfortunately, two-time Pro Bowl free safety Jairus Byrd is now facing a foot injury, per Tim Graham of The Buffalo News.

Doug Marrone says Jairus Byrd is having injured foot evaluated by same doctor who gave Mario Williams second opinion.

The injury has kept Byrd sidelined for the first five weeks of the season. He is active for Week 6.
