Washington Redskins fans received the news they had been waiting for ever since Robert Griffin III re-aggravated a right knee injury in a Wild Card Game against the Seattle Seahawks last season.

Robert Griffin III tweeted that he has been officially cleared to play eight months after knee surgery.
