Atlanta Falcons WR Roddy White Calls a Twitter Troll a 'Peasant'

The 2013 NFL season is yet to officially kick off, but Atlanta Falcons receiver Roddy White already has one Twitter folly under his belt.

After tweeting that he was working on Labor Day, a troll (with an egg avatar) mentioned that playing professional football is not real work. White responded by calling the follower a "disrespectful little peasant."

White later apologized for his word choice, likely at the advice of his PR manager.

In the future, it'd be in White's best interest to avoid the Twitter beef with fans, especially those with egg avatars.

Hat tip to Next Impulse Sports for the find.
