U.S. striker Eddie Johnson started the second half of the United States-Mexico World Cup qualifier with an impressive goal off a corner kick in the 49th minute.

The U.S. 2-0 victory plus Honduras' 2-2 draw with Panama means the United States has qualified for its seventh consecutive World Cup.

Landon Donovan added a second goal for the U.S. with this impressive goal off the nice work from Mix Diskerud and slight touch from Clint Dempsey
