Jonathan Villar Continues to Embarrass Himself on Bunt Attempts

Tristan ThornburghSocial Media StaffSeptember 26, 2013

Astros shortstop Jonathan Villar has had an awful month.

On Tuesday against the Rangers, Villar busted out a unique attempt for getting a bunt that involved throwing the bat in the general direction of the ball. It didn't work very well.

If you'll remember, this isn't Villar's first attempt at throwing the bat at a bunthe tried it about a month ago. But as if this all wasn't bad enough, Villar also fell victim to "the butt slide," baseball's version of the butt fumble, about a week ago.

Cheer up, Jonathan; it's almost the offseason for you.
