The Oregon Ducks opened up Pac-12 play Sept. 28 against the California Golden Bears, but the opening kickoff of the game resulted in a possible devastating injury.

Superstar running back De'Anthony Thomas sustained a huge hit on his first touch and came up limping on his left leg, per Andrew Greif of The Oregonian:

De'Anthony Thomas just got rocked on the kickoff return and he's being helped off. Was being ginger with left leg.

Thomas was ruled out for the Ducks' matchup vs. Colorado on Oct. 5. He did not play vs. Washington after being a game-time decision. However, Thomas says he will play this coming weekend vs. UCLA.
