Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush missed last Sunday’s game with a knee injury, but he returned with a fantasy vengeance against the Chicago Bears in Week 4.

Bush had 18 carries for 139 yards and a touchdown, as well as four receptions for 34 yards. Fantasy owners missed this kind of output last week.

In standard scoring leagues, Bush is producing big when he is healthy. With Bush's role in the passing attack and a consistent effort running the ball between the tackles, the Lions have found their clear No. 1 running back.

As well as Bush has paid off for standard league owners, he is blossoming into a PPR league machine. Detroit has used the quick pass to the running back as an extension of the running game, and Bush’s hands have made him a three-down back.

The Lions’ remaining schedule features a mix of tough run defenses like Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay and several favorable matchups against mediocre defensive units like Philadelphia and Green Bay. There are far more favorable matchups left, and that will lead to huge numbers as long as he stays healthy.

Don’t trade Bush high as a fantasy owner. Hold on to him and make a trade to secure his backup, Joique Bell, in case of injury.
