Continuing a surprising trend of big early season trades, the Carolina Panthers have reportedly agreed in principle to trade Pro Bowl linebacker Jon Beason to the New York Giants

Fox Sports insider Mike Garafolo tweeted the Panthers would receive a late-round pick in the deal.
