This Picture of Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Jason Dufner Is Amazing

Shhh...don’t say anything. Just enjoy it.

Looking at this picture of Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Jason Dufner is like watching elk canter across a trail in Alaska—you drink it in quietly and hope not to scare them away.

The image was discovered by Josh Ferensen of NextImpulseSports.com (via Shane Bacon of Yahoo! Sports), and it captures the three golf icons in a moment of cool repose between functions at the Presidents Cup.

What were they waiting for? Who knows.

The real question is what they were talking about. Golf is the easy guess, but I like to think it was something more compelling. After a long day of doing nothing but playing golf and answering reporters’ questions about golf, you'd imagine they'd want to talk about something—anything—else.

Mickelson appears to be leading the conversation, which I like to imagine involves him explaining his crazy womanizing days back at Arizona State.

"So I walk up to this coed. Yea, I said it. Coed. Anyway, I walk up to this girl, and I'm like, 'Yo. Honey. It's your boy, Philly Mick. You probably don't know about me yet, but would you like to eat a fish sandwich sometime? With me, preferably?'"

Tiger seems interested. He's paid up and lying down on a soft-looking staircase. Life isn’t bad right now.

The Duf is listening attentively. He already inadvertently started the Dufnering craze, and he’s not going to be caught looking half-drugged with a mouth full of Jolly Ranchers again.

This is National Geographic-caliber work, everyone. Three sports icons in matching suits, discussing things we can only hope to one day know or comprehend. Relax and enjoy it.
