The 2013 WWE Battleground pay-per-view was nothing more than a rerun of last month’s Night of Champions, and the holdover will continue through the next show on the schedule, Hell in a Cell.

All of the following rematches will make the Hell in a Cell PPV more exciting than Battleground because there will be serious vested interested in each.

Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns

The best match of the night was the tag team war between the Rhodes brothers and the duo of Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns of The Shield. With a great story being told and great in-ring work, this was an instant classic.

Now the rematch must happen at Hell in a Cell, but with the tag team championships on the line.

While The Usos have a guaranteed title shot because of a previous win, the WWE could easily televise that match and give The Shield the victory. Most fans wouldn’t believe The Usos would win on PPV anyway, so injecting the Rhodes brothers into the title scene is the smart move.

Triple H could cost the family the championships with his underhanded ways, or if the WWE is ready to start showing cracks in The Corporation’s plan, The Shield can drop the belts and the infighting can begin.

CM Punk vs. Ryback

CM Punk may have defeated Ryback at Battleground, but the overall feud with Paul Heyman isn’t over yet. With Punk still trying to get his hands on his former manager, expect a rematch of some sort at Hell in a Cell.

While the biggest knock has been the lack of in-ring talent from Ryback, the match between the duo Sunday was very entertaining. If the WWE properly books the angle leading into the next PPV, fans would get behind this rematch.

Instead of Ryback vs. Punk one on one again, Ryback and Curtis Axel vs. Punk in a handicap match would be the perfect end to this storyline and the ideal way to close out this memorable angle with Heyman and his former best friend.
