The NBA's Pacific Division went through plenty of change last year, but is that overhaul now the new normal?

With the once highly touted L.A. Lakers, as the division's traditional powerhouse, reeling into rebuilding mode, the Golden State Warriors and L.A. Clippers are usurping the throne in convincing fashion. But where the Clippers had the better regular-season record and the division title, the Warriors had more postseason success.

So who wins the chip this year, and is either team really true title contenders? Where do the Lakers fit into the hierarchy, and can they stay in the postseason picture at all?

At the bottom, are the Sacramento Kings finally turning the corner back to respectability and a positive future? How much longer before the Phoenix Suns can say the same?

NBA Lead Writer Josh Martin joins assistant editors Ethan Norof and Joel C. Cordes for the latest episode of Basketball by Association.
