St. Louis Cardinals fans can officially celebrate the fact that their team is headed to the NLCS to take on the Los Angeles Dodgers.

After knocking off the Pittsburgh Pirates with a 6-1 victory in the decisive Game 5, the Cardinals clinched a spot in the next round.

If you thought the fun of advancing to the NLCS would wear off after three times in three years, you were much mistaken. The Cardinals and their fans will be celebrating for days.

Adam Wainwright sealed the deal with this nasty breaking ball, and he celebrated with catcher Yadier Molina after finishing what he started.

This Cardinals fan was going absolutely nuts as her team came away with another win.

But she wasn't the only one excited to see the team win. Cardinals fans everywhere were going crazy as they watched Wainwright and Molina celebrate again.

The raw emotions the players showed on the field after winning is what makes the sport of baseball so great. As Christopher Tritto put it, we saw 20- and 30-year-olds acting like nine-year-olds.

That really is very special.

Fun seeing grown men celebrate like Little Leaguers. Wainwright should be called The Jeweler, he produces so many gems. #Cardinals

St. Louis will be rockin' after such a huge win in a pivotal Game 5 against the NL Central rival Pirates.

The best party was in the clubhouse, however, as players took the celebration to the next level with their champagne showers.

This is what the @Cardinals clubhouse looks like right now:

It all started with Wainwright, whose complete game led the team to victory. Naturally, he got the first bath because of it.

The best part of the celebration had to be the bullpen dancing, though.

Just look at those slick moves.

The Cardinals are on their way to the NLCS, and they are now one step away from the World Series.

YES SIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HERE WE COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WINNING @Cardinals
