The Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs lost to the Toledo Mud Hens, 6-4. J.D. Durbin continued to struggle, allowing five earned runs in five innings as he fell to 0-3 with a 8.10ERA on the season. Durbin was in major league spring training for most of camp and never found a rhythm or comfort level, and he continues to search for that with the Iron Pigs.

The Reading Phillies defeated the Harrisburg Senators, 5-4 in ten innings. Javon Moran showed signs of breaking out of his season long slump, as he went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a walk, and a run scored.

The Clearwater Threshers lost to the Fort Myers Miracle 4-1 on Wednesday night. Carlos Monasterios struggled to fall to 1-2 on the season, allowing four earned runs in six innings of work.

The Lake County Captains defeated the Lakewood BlueClaws by a score of 12-1 in the opener of the BlueClaws’ second homestand of the season. Lakewood committed six errors in the game. Jacob Diekman fell to 0-2 with the loss, as he allowed eight hits and three walks to go along with 11 runs, though only five were earned, over his four and two thirds innings of work.
