Ellington has seen an increased role in the Cardinals offense over the last three weeks and will look to continue his improved play when Arizona takes on Seattle this Thursday. The Seahawks' defense is allowing an average of 101.8 rushing yards per game this season so improvement against such a formidable opponent will not be an easy task to accomplish.
With Rashard Mendenhall still leading the charge out of the backfield, Ellington will see a handful of carries but will typically be featured more in the passing game. Unfortunately for him, the Seahawks rank fourth in the league against passes to the running back this season, so while he excels when running out in space, there may not be much space for him to actually run in.
