Brian Cushing Injury: Updates on Texans LB's Knee and Recovery

Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing exited his team's Week 7 contest against the Kansas City Chiefs, and his status is up in the air after suffering a knee injury midway through the third quarter.

Cushing was injured when Kansas City running back Jamaal Charles went low on a block on a 2nd-and-goal play from the Houston 7-yard line. Charles' hit buckled and twisted the Texans linebacker's knee.

According to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, Cushing broke his leg and tore his LCL. ESPN's Ed Werder reported he was having surgery on Tuesday, Oct. 22, which ended his season.
