Before their season opener against the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night, the Miami Heat players and staff members received their championship rings for winning last season's NBA title.

You can see a picture of the championship ring below, courtesy of Miami's official Instagram account:

The Heat also provided an up-close look at the rings presented to the team:

Bleacher Report's Ethan J. Skolnick reported that there's an added touch on the inside that hearkens back to the very beginning of last season:

The team wasn't taking any chances with the rings. Miami had police standing guard on the court, per ESPN's Darren Rovell:

With the way he carried the team throughout last season, it was fitting that James was introduced and given his ring last:

Miami's "Big Three" were all too happy to pose with their rings, and the Heat's Instagram account captured the moment:

Perhaps even cooler than the ring presentation itself was Miami's video montage of last year's playoff run, which was projected directly onto the court. It's one of those things that needs to be seen to be believed. The Miami Herald's Joseph Goodman shared a glimpse:

The Score thought a hologram of Tupac was naturally the next step:

Along with the ring ceremony, the championship banner was raised to the rafters as Queen's "We Are the Champions" blared in the background.

As a whole, the ring ceremony was classy and fun. It was a celebration befitting such a great team. The Heat are on the precipice of becoming the NBA's next dynasty, if they aren't already there.

After a bash like this, it will be interesting to see how Miami performs in their quest for a third consecutive title.
