Nebraska Beats Northwestern on Hail Mary as Time Expires

Ken ChinSocial Media StaffNovember 2, 2013

Nebraska beat Northwestern 27-24 on a crazy Hail Mary play in which the football got deflected into the hands of a Cornhuskers receiver Jordan Westerkamp as time expired. After surrendering a FG to the Wildcats with 1:22 remaining, the Cornhuskers were left with only one option on their final drive. The Hail Mary.

QB Ron Kellogg III uncorked a throw all the way to the end zone and ended up coming up a hero on the day.

What an amazing end to a game!
