A pregame ritual at Kansas State on Oct. 26 turned into a scary situation after a student suffered a seizure on the field after getting tackled by Willie the Wildcat, the school's mascot.

The student, who is a member of Kansas State's cheer squad, was dressed up in West Virginia gear. Willie the Wildcat tackled him to get the crowd riled up before the two teams took the field.

However, this stunt did not go as planned.

The student was taken to the hospital to be evaluated, and he was later released.

According to the report, the school's athletic department is reviewing the incident, and is considering making changes to the pregame ritual.

Hat tip to College Spun for the find.
