Florida Panthers' Krys Barch Pulls out Tooth, Gives It to Fan as Souvenir

Ken Chin@@thekenchinSocial Media StaffNovember 4, 2013

We all know that hockey players are tough. So it's not very surprising when Florida Panthers forward Krys Barch pulled out his own tooth while in the penalty box during Saturday's game against the Washington Capitals.

What makes this tooth-pulling incident unique is the reaction from Barch as he offered up his tooth to a fan sitting nearby, then faked tossing the tooth to him. By the look on the face of the fan, he wasn't too excited about it.

However, the tooth ended up with this lucky(?) guy who was able to bring home the most unlikely hockey souvenir ever!

Unfortunately for Barch and the Panthers, the Capitals went on to win 3-2 in a shootout.

Thanks to Harrison Mooney of Yahoo! Sports for the heads up.
