Stanford's Defense Makes Oregon WR Josh Huff Cry

Randy ChambersAnalyst INovember 8, 2013

There's no crying in football!

Well, Oregon wide receiver Josh Huff didn't get the memo. As the fourth quarter was readying to begin with Stanford holding a commanding 23-0 lead Thursday night, Huff had a difficult time fighting back tears as quarterback Marcus Mariota tried his best to console his teammate before Stanford's eventual 26-20 victory.

At least he didn't look nearly as bad as Tim Tebow did after choking against Alabama.

To make matters worse, Huff was later injured:

Not a great night for the talented receiver.

In all seriousness, it's understandable to see Oregon players emotional. This was Huff's last chance to compete for a national championship, considering he's a senior.

Now, a chance at the Pac-12 title may have even been flushed down the drain.

It's a sad night to be a Duck.
