It appears Ed Reed has quickly found a new home with the New York Jets.

From the Jets' official Twitter feed:

We bolstered our secondary THURS, agreeing to terms with Ed Reed a day after the veteran S cleared waivers.

ESPN's Rich Cimini commented on how soon fans could see him on the field:

Jets' interest in Reed intensified late yesterday, per source. Rex Ryan reached out to Reed. Could be available Sunday, per @mortreport.
