Arsenal's BFG is trying to make some BF bucks for charity.

German defender Per Mertesacker, nicknamed "BFG"—or "Big F****** German"—by Arsenal fans, is turning his unique moniker into a fundraising strategy for his own Per Mertesacker Stiftung charity.

Here's the BFG with his BFG shirt, via Mertesacker's Facebook page.

On his Facebook account, Mertesacker said SpielRaum designed the shirt. He added: "The idea supports my foundation 'Per Mertesacker Stiftung' and the good things we do there."
