Final: Tampa Bay 24, Detroit 21
Detroit falls to 6-5 while the Buccaneers improve to 3-8.
My most overriding thought of the game:
This has been one of the hardest #Lions games to watch that I can remember. Clearly the better team, clearly the worse effort.— Jeff Risdon (@JeffRisdon) November 24, 2013
Tampa Bay wins thanks to five Detroit turnovers. They even survived two missed field goals by Rian Lindell and gaining less than 85 yards in the entire second half.
This was Matthew Stafford's worst game in memory. Aside from the four interceptions, he missed several other throws. Keep in mind the Buccaneers played half the game without star cornerback Darrelle Revis and the entire game without starting safety Dashon Goldson.
The Lions defense played quite well other than one notable breakdown by Chris Houston, but they could not overcome the inept play of their own offense.
Thanks for following along, and try to enjoy the rest of this football Sunday.
