In the midst of a forgettable season for himself and his team, Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones flashed his potential for a big game against the New York Jets on Sunday.
The Ravens earned a 19-3 win as Jones hauled in four Joe Flacco passes for 103 yards and a touchdown. This was highlighted by a 66-yard touchdown grab.
With just 17 catches, 160 yards and one touchdown heading into this Week 13 contest, Jones' output in this game is well above what he has been turning in this season.
While his production on Sunday will understandably turn the heads of fantasy owners, those owners would be wise to keep their heads right on turning. Jones will not duplicate this production again this season.
|Ravens' Remaining Schedule|

Jones has never pulled in more than 562 receiving yards in any of his previous six NFL seasons. This is his second season with the Ravens, and last year he pulled in 30 catches for 406 yards.
Jones hasn't had more than eight targets in a game this season, and his six targets on Sunday push his season total to 31.
With Jones, there is always a chance he will create a big play, but there is a far more likely chance he won't.
