Skydivers Parachuting into AFC Championship Game Is as Exhilarating as It Sounds

Some Denver Broncos fans managed to find a nifty way to skirt traffic by literally dropping onto Sports Authority Field during Sunday's AFC Championship Game.

Looks fun, but we will go ahead and opt for maneuvering through the parking lot, thank you very much.

Bob's Blitz spotted the video that features members of the Denver Broncos Thunderstorm, a group of skydivers who also posted the video to their Facebook page

There, they proclaim they are "the official Denver Broncos parachute team providing high speed, edge of your seat, pre-game entertainment." We had no clue the Broncos had a parachute squad, but we are glad they decided such a thing was necessary.

And really, it's hard not to get excited the moment the door opens in the airplane and you see nothing but Denver skyline. It's equal parts terrifying and exhilarating.

Despite one skydiver proclaiming in the video, "We've got a long ways to go," the team gets the go-ahead just a few moments later.

That's when a few of them hang onto the side of the airplane for what has to be one of the more extreme ways you can decide to stand still.

From there, they all let go and choreograph their way onto the field, which is another remarkable part of the video, because it would seem so easy to get lost amid the wind and find yourself in the cheap seats.

Anyone with experience, please feel free to sound off on how difficult it might be to land with accuracy.

As for this team, they made sure to get in at least a couple of runs, because they featured some of their practice jumps on their YouTube page

Seeing as how the Broncos took care of the Patriots in the game, 26-16, perhaps the team will let the skydiving squad travel with them to their next clash for a dose of good luck.

I hear it's a pretty important game.
