The January transfer window is now closed, and Chelsea have been far more active then manager Jose Mourinho promised back in December. According to The Guardian, the Blues have made a £12 million profit while addressing some key issues in the squad.

Supporters may still be struggling to deal with the sale of Juan Mata to Manchester Untied, but the £37 million that the deal generated will go along way to ensuring the club's compliance with Financial Fair Play. Nemanja Matic has rejoined the club to stabilise the midfield, while Bertrand Traore and Kurt Zouma have plenty of potential for the future.

Kakuta Joins Lazio on Loan
Kakuta has most recently been on loan with Vitesse Arnhem in Holland. The 22-year-old will be visiting his fifth loan destination from Chelsea with his spell in Rome. He's also had spells at Fulham, Bolton and Dijon.
Kurt Zouma Completes Move to Chelsea
Chelsea confirmed the signing of St Etienne defender Kurt Zouma on their official website on Friday afternoon.
The 19-year-old has signed a five-and-a-half year deal, and will be loaned back to the French club until the end of the current season.
Earlier, Ben Smith at BBC Sport reported that a £12 million deal to bring Zouma to London could be completed before the window closed.
£3 Million for Croatian Youngster Mario Pasalic
According to Simon Jones of the Daily Mail, Chelsea are prepared to pay £3 million to sign Croatian youngster Mario Pasalic from Hajduk Split.
Mario Mandzukic in from Bayern Munich?
According to Ben Jefferson at The Express, Mario Mandzukic could leave Bayern Munich before the transfer window closes, with Chelsea among his potential destinations.
