Coincidentally, Toronto hosted the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night, and Hansbrough bought his unique brand of physicality, which produced a handful of offensive rebounds and one quality football tackle.
As he scrambled up the floor following a missed shot, he neglected to take heed of Mike Dunleavy, who wanted nothing to do with the Raptor. The result was Hansbrough taking down Dunleavy with something more reminiscent of a Jadeveon Clowney tackle than a basketball play.
Dunleavy is 33 years old and in his 12th season. He's getting too old for this kind of stuff.
Hansbrough also dragged Nazr Mohammed to the court on a first-half box out, and the Bulls reserve stood over Hansbrough after he got up. Some words and shoving ensued, and both players proved how tough they could be as soon as a scrum of players had interceded.
Hansbrough loves throwing around his crazy-eyes stare, but any New York Knicks fan can tell you his kryptonite: Metta World Peace.
