Remember crushes? Those innocent, little bundles of admiration you once secretly had for other people?

    Do they make those anymore?

Sports crushes are a little bit different. In your perfect sports crush you are looking for someone who combines athletic skills, good looks and they seem like someone you'd actually want in your friend circle.

So yes, we still can crush on women, particularly ones who could beat us at our favorite sports.

The following are the most crush-worthy women in sports, and their combination of looks and skill will remind you that no, you're not emotionally stunted. You're just waiting for Alex Morgan to wise up.

Michelle Jenneke

Michelle Jenneke has come a long way in a short time

One moment she was the cute, smily girl with the pony tail, the next she was doing spreads for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.

The mere act of hopping up and down before a 2012 track meet helped turn the Australian hurdler into an overnight sensation.

That and the fact that she wins doesn't hurt either.

Skylar Diggins

Beautiful? Yep. Talented? Ahuh. Stronger and more coordinated than us? Definitely.

Men get into Skylar Diggins for the looks, but they stay for the power factor.

There's just something intoxicating about a woman who can freeze a room with her beauty and leave you crying under the basket in the fetal position.

Amanda Kessel

"Hey Phil, so uh...I was just thinking, like...we're friends right? [laughs] Well, I respect you, man. And I just wanted to ask it's alright with you...if I....maybe took your sister to the [punch] [thud]."

We can only imagine the amount of awkward conversations Phil Kessel has had with teammates interested in dating his sister.

Then again, suitors approaching Amanda Kessel probably have to worry just as much about invoking her wrath. We'll just continuing crushing on the U.S. women's right winger from a distance—far out of reach of a right hook.

Kate Hansen

No one likes a stick in the mud.

No guy is looking for a girl who enjoys staring at the wall and sulking in the corner at parties. We want energy. We want a Kate Hansen.

The 21-year-old Olympic luger is cute, but more importantly, she's a vitamin B shot to the system. Hansen dances constantly, hangs out with "wolves" and her Twitter handle is "K8ertotz." To put it another way: If she had a Cherokee name, it would be "Dances With Wolves."

If you're not sold at this point, I don't know what to tell you.

Silje Norendal

Who is Silje Norendal? Bro, do you even creep on Olympians?

For those unfamiliar with this angelic young woman, Silje Norendal is a Norwegian snowboarder who is good at flipping her body through the air and looks like a someone designed in a lab by Abercrombie and Fitch and American Apparel scientists.

Don't worry about the plausibility of fashion scientists, the point is Norendal is extremely crush worthy—although you'll have to deal with Sage Kotsenburg if you're looking to make a move. He's all over her.

Anastasia Ashley

To twerk? Or not to twerk? It's not even a question anymore.

As I've stated before, Anastasia Ashley is the answer to the question "What can twerk do for you?" The California surfer went from quiet up-and-comer to Internet superstar when video of her "warmup routine" surfaced online in August of 2013.

Fast forward six months and Ashley is now gracing the pages of Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Edition, and sufficed to say, the pics have half the web dragging their tongues on the keyboard.

Alex Morgan

Alright, alright—everyone can get off their knee and stop fumbling for rings. And someone mop up that drool.

Alex Morgan might be the ultimate sports crush right now, and we don't need to go down the list and name all the reasons why. We'd be here until March talking about her "girl next door" looks, charming smile and history of excellence on the pitch.

Tomes could be written about her sparkling attitude and our intense desire to watch her walk through a meadow in a sun dress. We could talk for...oh God.

    It's happening again.

Aimee Fuller

Nothing short of a weapons-grade hairblower could pacify that flow, but that's how Aimee Fuller likes it.

The British snowboarder is kind of like a cartoon who tumbled into our world to make it a brighter place, and her refusal to take life seriously has made her one of the most interesting athletes at the Winter Olympics.

Furthermore, Fuller looks like an excellent partner in crime. If anyone is leaving Sochi with a stolen Russian police officer hat, it's her.

Serena Williams

Are you man enough to crush on Serena Williams?

Williams is just as much a force of nature as she is a woman, which is cool but cripplingly intimidating.

I imagine getting between her and her goals feels a lot like falling onto the tracks in a New York subway. You are playing chicken with something that doesn't have the capability to veer off course.

That said, if you're a "legs man," you'll happily take that risk.

Caroline Wozniacki

    Susan Mullane-USA TODAY Sports

"I like a guy with a sense of humor!"

That road goes both ways, ladies.

Unless you're an uptight guy who's intimidated by wit, chances are you like a woman who can make you laugh. Caroline Wozniacki is that woman—the class clown who can take it and dish it out.

She does impersonations, wears weird outfits and above all else, she keeps things interesting. Unfortunately for those crushing hard on the Danish tennis star, the worst news possible surfaced this January. Rory McIlroy and the Woz are engaged

Elena Ilinykh

    Richard Mackson-USA TODAY Sports

Meet Elena Ilinykh, the black swan of Sochi.

The Russian ice dancer turned heads and stole hearts at the 2014 Winter Olympics, and managed to take home a bronze medal with her partner Nikita Katsalapov.

While great on the ice, her strongest suit might be "looking like Mila Kunis." Seriously, it's weird.

Victoria Azarenka

Victoria Azarenka is from Belarus. She is a talented tennis player and she has a passion for twerking.

If you're still reading, Azarenka is a beast. The Belarusian tennis player managed to beat Serena Williams and win the Cincinnati WTA title in 2013.

So she's more than a pair of powder blue soffes on a twerk machine. Granted, that's a huge part of the draw.

    Who's your sports crush?
