Adidas to Give $100K to Player with Top 40 at Combine While Wearing Their Cleats

A great time in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine has proven to launch players up draft boards. Players participating in drills at this year's combine just got even more incentive to crush in the most publicized drill. Adidas will pay a whopping $100,000 to the athlete who runs the fastest time while wearing the "adizero 5-Star 40" cleat.

UPDATE: Tuesday, February 25, 1:11 p.m. ET

Former Oregon State wide receiver Brandin Cooks won the $100,000 with his 40-yard dash time of 4.33.
