Coming into this SEC showdown, the No. 25 Kentucky Wildcats looked to stun No. 1 Florida with their troupe of talented freshman. That didn't work out, as Florida dominated throughout the first half, taking a lead of 49-28 into halftime. Superstar forward Julius Randle was held in check, and things didn't look good for Kentucky.

That all changed in the second half. The Wildcats owned much of the momentum, even going on a 15-0 run at one point. Despite Randle finishing 7-10 for 16 points and James Young finishing 3-4 from downtown with 14 total points, Kentucky couldn't get past the No. 1 Gators, who got 18 points from center Patric Young and 15 from forward Casey Prather.

The Gators finish the regular season 29-2, with a perfect 18-0 SEC record. They are the first team to ever record such a record in the SEC.
