The final stop on the road to WrestleMania is this Friday night's SmackDown, and with one last chance to make an impression before the Showcase of the Immortals, expect inspired performances from the WWE Superstars. A very special appearance from the Immortal Hulk Hogan, guest host of this Sunday's event, should make this week's broadcast a must-see show.

With live cut-ins to WWE Axxess in New Orleans, SmackDown will be your last chance to get all of the latest breaking news and notes prior to the big show.

What will go down as the SmackDown hits the SyFy airwaves. Who will leave Friday night riding a wave of momentum?

Battle Royal Hype

While it remains to be seen what video packages will be included during Friday's show and what content the live cut-ins to Axxess will be responsible for, it appears as though the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal will be heavily featured.

Hulk Hogan's appearance should bring a few extra viewers to the show, if hyped properly, and he will likely do an excellent job of putting the match over. No matter the criticism he has been on the receiving end of over the years, Hogan has always been able to sell the audience on any match. He is a master hype man, and WWE will use him to his strengths.

Dolph Ziggler's victory over Titus O'Neil does no damage to O'Neil and continues Ziggler's winning ways heading into the Battle Royal. It is highly unlikely that Ziggler will win the match on Sunday night, but he has been positioned as one of the dark horses to do so and, hopefully, can parlay his newfound win streak into a push after the event.

Tag Team Action

Ahead of Sunday's pre-show match pitting the WWE tag team champions The Usos against the Real Americans, Los Matadores and RybAxel, Jack Swagger and Cesaro take on Los Matadores in tag action on Friday night's broadcast.

The Real Americans' victory in the match gives them a bit of momentum heading into the show. The disappointment that their match was dropped off of the main show may be high, but it will disappear if they are finally given a run with the titles beginning Sunday night.
