Throwback Thursday: Tiger Woods Sinks Incredible Chip Shot at 2005 Masters

Ken ChinSocial Media StaffApril 10, 2014

On April 10, 2005, Tiger Woods faced an impossible shot at the 16th hole of the final round in the 2005 Masters Tournament.

Woods took a daring approach, chipping the ball far to the left of the cup and letting the ball roll ever so softly into the hole for a birdie.

The gamble paid off after a sensational chip, and Tiger went on to defeat Chris DiMarco in a playoff round to take home his fourth green jacket.
