Atletico Madrid Open to Fernando Torres-Diego Costa Swap Deal

    The Metro are reporting that Atletico Madrid appear more than happy to take Fernando Torres in part-exchange for Diego Costa following comments made by manager Diego Simeone on Spanish radio.

    Torres began his career at the Vicente Calderon, but he would have to take a hit on his wages if he was to return home. 

PSG Duo Want to Cross Channel

    According to Martin Lipton at The Mirror, both Ezequiel Lavezzi and Edinson Cavani are keen on a move to Stamford Bridge this summer.

    The PSG duo, previously together at Napoli, would cost the Blues around £80 million—unless they capitalise on the Parisiens' interest in either Eden Hazard, David Luiz or Oscar to bring the price down.

Inter Milan Actually Want Torres

    Speaking to the club's official website, Inter Milan general director Marco Fassone has admitted an interest in signing Fernando Torres this summer, per the Press Association (via The Independent).

    Any deal hinges on Inter's European qualification, but it seems that the saga of the striker's time at Stamford Bridge could be over soon. 

Diego Costa Deal Done

    According to El Confidencial (via The Metro), Chelsea have agreed a fee of £50 million for the transfer of Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa, who will join the Blues on 30 June.

    Costa sustained a nasty looking leg injury that required stitches on Sunday night, per the Huffington Post. Blues supporters will hope that his injury, coupled with the familiar price tag, are not bad omens for the future.

    Chelsea like attacking midfielders. They have at least five in their first-team squad and a similar number out on loan and coming through the academy. Still, one more wouldn't hurt, would it?
