John McClain, a writer for the Houston Chronicle, predicted the Texans would select a quarterback in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft. In fact, he was so confident that he said he would eat his paper's Draft Day front page if it didn't happen.

Well, the Texans picked South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney No. 1 overall, Houston's lone selection in the opening round.

And McClain showed he was a man of his word.
