Who’s Better: Carmelo or Lebron?

Sean StancillSenior Writer IMay 1, 2008

The epic battle between Carmelo Anthony and Lebron James has gone back and forth, and started when Melo was a scrappy short haired buck at Oak Hill, and Lebron a long hair high-flyer at St.Mary's.

No its not the other way around.

Carmelo's journey began at a Catholic School in Baltimore, Maryland where he was a instant star. During his senior year in High School, Anthony transferred to Oak Hill Academy where he became a McDonald's All American and a Parade All American.

From there he went on to Syracuse and led the Orange to a National Championship as a freshman.

In the 2003 NBA Draft, Melo was selected by the Denver Nuggets with the 3rd overall pick.

So far, Carmelo Anthony has led the Nuggets to 5 playoff appearances in 5 years as a Pro.
