Minor League Baseball Team Wears Interesting Egyptian-Themed Jerseys

The Memphis Redbirds, the Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, wore some very interesting jerseys for their game Saturday on "Tribute To Memphis, Egypt Night."

As MiLB.com noted:

The uniforms are a nod to the Egyptian city of the same name. The 'Redbird' mascot logo appears in the style of Egyptian animal-headed gods on the special uniform top.

The Redbirds are doing this to celebrate 15 years at AutoZone Park.
