Drake Performs 'Honorable Mention,' 'Side Pieces' at the 2014 ESPYS

Recording artist and shameless bandwagon sports fan Drake was in his element as the host of the 2014 ESPYS.

In addition to MCing the ESPN awards show, Drake also busted out a pair of original songs that were, well, interesting. Displaying a soft tone and wry sense of humor, Drake first performed a song he called "Honorable Mentions"—a tongue-in-cheek tribute to the second-place finishers in sports. It had subtle shots at everyone from LeBron James to Danica Patrick, with a zinging ESPN camera zoom-in on Dan Marino to close it out.

Then came the really uncomfortable part.

Drake's next song, which featured Brian McKnight, was called "Side Pieces"—a tribute to the many groupies of pro athletes. It. Was. Awkward.

Of course, Drake also worked in another shout out to his WNBA crush Skylar Diggins, whose boyfriend—again—probably didn't appreciate it.
