Roger Federer def. David Ferrer, 6-3, 1-6, 6-2
Winning his sixth title in Cincinnati wasn't an easy task for Roger Federer, but that's what it looked like during the third set.
After losing the second set 6-1 to David Ferrer, Federer came alive in the third set to win his 16th-career match against the Spaniard.
Ferrer, who has not beaten Federer is his career, looked strong in the second set, but he could not carry the momentum over into the deciding set.
Federer, who only won three of his 14 break points in the match, commanded the first set to win 6-3.
The victory for the Swiss legend of the game was his 80th-overall title and 22nd Masters tournament championship.
