Kobe Bryant has been taking over basketball games and breaking his opponents' hearts since 1995. In this footage from his junior year at Lower Merion High School, a young Kobe showed his unbreakable will to win.

Kobe led his team to a 75-70 playoff win over Norristown Area High School by scoring 29 of his 35 points in the second half. And with his killer instinct on full display, he went on to be named Pennsylvania Player of the Year.

(Skip to the 10-minute mark to see the Kobe highlights.)

It was easy to see the talent that Kobe possessed at a young age, but what stands out was his leadership and willingness to take on the responsibility of doing what it takes to win.

Even at 16, he was the same Kobe whom we know and love.
