Argentina faced a must-win Monday in Group B action at the FIBA World Cup, with Andray Blatche and the Philippines trying to find their first win of the tournament. After trailing by 10 points to open the fourth quarter, the Philippines closed it to a one-possession game down the stretch, but Argentina held off the comeback attempt for a 90-85 win.

Argentina took a tough 90-85 loss against Croatia Sunday, moving to 1-1 for the tournament, so Monday's win came as a huge relief. Meanwhile, the Philippines still seeks a first win in Spain.
