Kevin Harvick will pilot the No. 33 Jimmy John's Chevrolet, at Gateway International Raceway, for the Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250 and were KHI as a team has found success.
Back in 2000, Harvick as a rookie in the Nationwide Series would record his first win in any of NASCAR's top three series at Gateway.
Harvick has only made three career starts at the track, he's compiled two wins, three top fives, led 221 laps of 600 attempted.
It marks his first race at the track in KHI equipment. As a team, they have had success at Gateway, having both Rick Carelli and Ron Hornaday winning races in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
He should have a fast car, qualify well (even win the pole), run top-10 with a good car after the final pit stop, and he'll battle for his 34th career win.
"Gateway is a very unique track with two completely different sets of corners, which makes for some great racing that the fans will enjoy."
He'll be racing chassis No. 36 at Gateway. It's been raced twice this season, both times at Nashville recording a fifth and 31st place finishes.
Think Happy will run a strong race, he'll be there in the end, and his crew chief Ernie Cope could use pit strategy to steal a win.
