Emmanuel Adebayor is no longer a Gunner. Next season, probably Robin van Persie and Nicklas Bendtner will lead the line. Eduardo might be leading the line next season as well.

Despite the fact that Adebayor appeared lazy, he scored goals. Arsenal fans never really hated him. I, for one, will miss Ade.

I have been hearing rumours that Arsenal are apparently interested in Ba.

We all know about Arsene Wenger's love affair with French players. Demba Ba is Senegalese; however, he was born in France. He currently plays for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.

If somebody hasn't heard about Hoffenheim, I will be surprised.

They were the surprise package of the Bundesliga last year. They led the pack during the winter break but eventually finished seventh due to an injury to leading scorer Vedad Ibisevic. They also had to deal with suspensions and other injuries throughout the second part of the season.

Hoffenheim played a style of football resembling that of Barcelona. Obviously, the two teams are of different classes, but for a newly promoted side to achieve what Hoff did definitely deserves praise.

Hoffenheim played with three forwards: Vedad Ibisevic, Demba Ba, and Chinedu Obasi. Ba scored 14 goals in their Bundesliga campaign.

Ba is 6'3", but he is certainly not immobile. He is a forward who is quite mobile despite his size. He has scored 23 times for Hoff in 57 appearances.

He would do well at Arsenal. I for one would love to see Demba Ba at the Emirates. Ba was about to sign for Stuttgart, but the deal fell through at the last moment.

Ba went as far as to say that he wants to leave Hoffenheim.

The club's management board sat down with Ba and asked him to respect his contract there. He has two years left in his contract. If Arsenal come calling, I doubt whether Hoffenheim will be able to hold the 24-year-old back.

Demba Ba won't be that expensive either. Arsene Wenger can buy him or at least try him out on a loan spell. I doubt whether Ba will disappoint. I do realize that switching leagues is not easy but Ba could make it.

I think it's worth a shot.
